Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Fantasy U Sports (the "Service"), operated by Steve Siebersma, doing business as Fantasy U Sports, an Iowa limited liability company (in formation) ("we," "us," or "our"), available at fantasyusports.com. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Fantasy U Sports is a fantasy sports platform for college football and college basketball. Users draft rosters of college athletes, manage teams, compete in leagues against other users, and track scores based on real-world statistical performance. Fantasy U Sports is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, any college or university, any athletic conference, or any individual athlete. Player and school data is used for informational and gameplay purposes only.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the free features of the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian and may not purchase a paid subscription. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or maintain a Fantasy U Sports Pro subscription.

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account by providing an email address and a display name, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Fantasy U Sports does not offer real-money gambling, wagering, or games of chance of any kind. There are no cash prizes, no entry fees tied to winnings, and no payouts based on league outcomes. Fantasy U Sports Pro is a flat-rate, recurring subscription ($15/year, coming soon) that unlocks additional features of the Service — it is not a wager, and payment of the subscription fee has no bearing on any user's chances of winning a league. League "trophies," standings, and bragging rights carry no monetary value.

Certain features may be offered as part of a paid "Pro" tier. Where a subscription is purchased, it will renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled, unless otherwise stated at checkout. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law. Pricing and included features are subject to change with reasonable notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, leagues, or Service infrastructure;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the Service;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated means to access the Service outside of provided interfaces.

You are responsible for any content you submit to the Service, including team names, league names, and other user-generated content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it as necessary to operate and improve the Service. We may remove User Content that violates these Terms.

With your permission, the Service may send push notifications (for example, waiver processing results, matchup updates, or league invites) using OneSignal. You can disable push notifications at any time through your browser or device settings.

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including Supabase (database and authentication hosting), OneSignal (push notifications), Resend (transactional email), and Google (sign-in). Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers where relevant.

The Service, including its design, branding, logos, and underlying software, is owned by Fantasy U Sports and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that statistical data (scores, projections, standings) will be perfectly accurate or timely. Fantasy sports outcomes are for entertainment purposes only.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fantasy U Sports and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Iowa.
