Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fantasy U Sports ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Steve Siebersma, an Iowa limited liability company (in formation), collects, uses, and protects information when you use fantasyusports.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: your email address and display name.
• Google OAuth data: if you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (such as your name, email, and profile photo) as authorized by you during sign-in.
• Push notification tokens: if you opt in to push notifications, a device token is generated and stored by our notification provider, OneSignal.
• Fantasy league data: teams you create, rosters, draft picks, league settings, chat/communication within leagues, and scoring data generated through your use of the Service.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as browser type and general interaction with the Service, to the extent necessary to operate and secure it.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account;
• Operate core Service features, such as leagues, drafts, rosters, and scoring;
• Send transactional emails (such as league invites) via Resend;
• Send push notifications you've opted into (such as waiver results or matchup updates) via OneSignal;
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Service;
• Communicate with you about your account or the Service, including support requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not currently run advertising on the Service; if we introduce advertising (for example, Google AdSense on free-tier pages), we will update this Policy before doing so and describe what data, if any, is shared with ad providers.

Your data is stored using Supabase, a US-based database and backend platform, which provides encryption in transit and at rest, along with access controls. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We share limited data with the following service providers, solely to operate the Service:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
• OneSignal — push notification delivery.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g., league invites).
• Google — optional sign-in (OAuth).

These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually or technically limited in how they may use it. We do not control their independent privacy practices and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

Push notifications are entirely opt-in. You can decline notification permissions when prompted, or disable them at any time through your browser or device settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to use the rest of the Service.

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) for essential functions like keeping you signed in and remembering your display preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users between 13 and 17 may use free features of the Service but may not purchase a paid subscription; a paid Pro subscription requires the account holder to be at least 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

We retain your account and league data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at admin@fantasyusports.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, such as the right to obtain a copy of your data or object to certain processing. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
