Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. We also use similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, to support core functionality of Fantasy U Sports (the "Service"). This policy describes what we use and why.

We use cookies and local storage for the following purposes:

• Essential / authentication: to keep you signed in and securely identify your account between visits (via Supabase authentication).
• Preferences: to remember your display settings, such as light or dark theme.
• Functionality: to support features like push notification delivery (via OneSignal) once you've opted in.

• Strictly necessary — required for the Service to function, such as maintaining your login session. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
• Functional — remember choices you've made, such as your preferred theme, to improve your experience.
• Advertising — we do not currently use advertising cookies. If we introduce ads on free-tier pages in the future (for example, via Google AdSense), this policy will be updated in advance to describe the cookies used and your choices.

Some functionality is provided by third parties who may set their own cookies or use similar technologies as part of that functionality:

• Google — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set cookies as part of that authentication flow.
• OneSignal — used to deliver push notifications you've opted into.
• Supabase — used to manage authentication sessions.

These providers' use of cookies is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from staying signed in and will affect your ability to use the Service. You can also clear your browser's local storage to remove saved preferences.

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves — for example, when we introduce advertising or analytics. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
